Hi everyone!

To Paul: Your answer deserves much more than I have time to give it
tonight. I will save it and answer later. No, I retract nothing from
what I have said.

As for "restitution" or whatever, versus a setup in which the cause of
someone's acts is primary, I must say that what is human does not
matter here at all. Aren't we working on becoming more than human? Not
only that, but what has been thought "human" by different peoples
at different times does not coincide with our notions at all. We may
have a better hold on matters of fact than they, but when we talk
about ethics we are not talking about matters of fact. And then to
complexify the matter, we have the possibility of insurance...

More later.
Best and long long life to all,

				Thomas Donaldson
