Thomas Donaldson's unsuccessful attempt to win the legal right to a pre-mortem suspension in the US, prompts this question: Is there any jurisdiction where a pre-mortem suspension is permitted? It is my impression that the Dutch allow physician assisted suicide (ie., euthanisia). Could this serve as a starting point for accomplishing a pre-mortem suspension?
