(Please don't "test" this out of curiosity - conversely, if you're an Alcor Member, being taken to a hospital or feeling like you think you might go there for an emergency, that's what it's for!!!=A0 Read it off your bracelet and then *Use it!!!*=A0 If you want to understand this system thoroughly, either as an Alcor Member or one who is just thinking of signing up, Brian Shock will describe it for you in detail; please call the new inquiry line for that, though.) The new toll-free inquiry number is 877-GO-ALCOR (877-462-5267).=A0 This number goes directly to the desk of Brian Shock, Membership Manager and Editor of Cryonics Magazine; you can leave a message if he's not there. The new administrative line at Alcor is 602-905-1906, for those of you who might want to speak with someone other than Brian (it's a four-line system, but the basic incoming line is now 905-1906).=A0 Soon, there will be a "voice information" system running on these four lines at night, along with individual voice mailboxes for staff members and paging functions to help us coordinate emergencies. Thank you for your patience during this transition.=A0 A lot of Alcor literature exists out there, bearing the old inquiry number.=A0 By making a note of these changes, you'll help shift traffic to the new lines.=A0 We appreciate it.
