This may be a matter for most Cryonicists, interested in longevity and something
to come back to.

Since only one seems to be the main opponent I'm not sure if this is a matter to
pursue here, but like to wrap it up before it takes much more =
time.

I am not a technician to solve this, better on planting a seed in politicians as
it works well here, perhaps not the same in US. Guess its =

more or less the same. Technicians cant solve a political problem. There are no
lack of researchers as far as I know to get out of the CO2-trap, =

i.e. solarpanels improvements and new batteries coming up. But the people who
sell oil coal and gas dont like to go out of business.

I got into this more now when a small majority of politicians like to shut down
a relatively safe nuclearplant here only for political =

reasons, saying we may have to increase CO2 a transient time, against a majority
of our population in many recent polls. We prefer nuc instead =
of CO2 and its risks until the solarpanels etc. are out on the market.

I also looked into this having lived in Melbourne and plan to migrate to a
warmer place than here but not to hot. San Diego has its =
earthquakerisks, CO2 are worse and new.

The wellknown facts are the risks, not the result. Since the risks are new and
may not be reversible, I prefer insurance.

Oil is by the way also causing acidproblems all over my garden and our land,
guess its the same in US. Oilprices has gone down!

Peter Merel wrote: "As it is, I'm saving up for a deposit on a home in what I
think will remain an orderly place even if worse comes to worst."

In a diplomatic fashion I try not to get to personal but guess a lot of us are
curious where and what this is? Guess you mean Y2K we all have =

to think of, since you arent worried yet of the G.-effect. I like a quick
solution and peace of mind, rather like to look for the G.-spot =
and worry over the stockmarket.

Absolutely right, it has been found, by at least some Danes, in ice the natural
variations. The issue are the un-natural variations.

One problem is who to believe. US are more money-market-oriented, here we pay
more taxes i.e. to our Unis who dont get any private money at =
all, and the government dont interfere in what they do.

The G.-effect can also speed up a new ice-age. In the last one, northern Europe
down to south of France, most of US and southeast of Australia =
was under ice.

The lovely Australia has its problems with some weather-disasters, but more with
record-high skincancer-cases due to the UV-rays, caused by =

damage on the ozonlayer, since they are so near Antarctica where its an
"ozon-hole" now.

Cars with catalytic converters are not "clean", they also produce CO2, and
nitrous oxide as are damaging the ozonlayer. UV-rays also cause =

cataracts and are harming growing algies seeds etc. Perhaps a small problem in
south USA also, here it is.

One political marketoriented way are to put taxes on CO2-sources. Otherwise its
hard to get folks to put up $10-20k for solarpanels etc. =

to get off the grid if possible. Small-scale logfire are no solution, known as a
hazard now.

Forgive me for the =3D to blame on MS Outlook Express. The last one was with MS
IE 3,02 looked better. OE has more options.

Sincerely
Thomas Nord
