As far as I = have learned its like the the old country over here, we live in houses more or less paid off when we get old. The houses I have seen in AZ and = like cost some $125.000 =3D one Alcor or several at CI for 28.000 each. At that age most have some savings too. And the children are hopefully = self-supporting. Not to mention the family rebates at Cryo-orgs. Many families are on the edge of economy but have to have an lifeinsurance = after all. If I get children of my own or have relatives at the end, I would be ashamed if they dont like to see me again and vice versa. The nearest goal are not to die, for affirmation. It will be possible more and more realistic in the near future. If you cant afford Cryonics, = just stay in touch until you can, but anyone of us can die any minute. Just try to live healthy, work and save. I did but can see my much = younger brother who did it the normal way and are more on the economic edge with a house and family, not interested in Cryonics. Its not always = a matter of money though since I have offered my mother to pay for her, she will not accept it, I'll work on it a bit offended of nonacceptance = of this gift. She thinks it looks nasty having seen it in TV here several times; So what you are dead then I say, not to often, its a bit = depressing enough when they also see their friends go away one after another. I haven't learned the CR-matter yet enough, more of how the Centenarians did it, no CR there, more of old sense and healthy living. Obesity are = more of a problem, the worst I've seen, in US. We still have the more slender line, US are ahead and we are getting it more, seeing warning = examples in TV from US. One reason are the different cityplanning with more car-driving in US. I have 2 houses, and 3 cars I very seldom use, a = bit unusual here too. However the weightcharts for us seldom takes on account if its muscles as weigh more. As weighing to little I learned = this is no good, better with just a little overweight if not normal. We must have some reserves when we get sick. And a shield against heat and = cold, just as a thermosbottle. The main thing though are exercise, just walking is very good I know some of the very old has done a lot. Someone wrote Cryonics is forbidden also in Germany in a mail to me; Is that so meine damen (?) und herren? We better learn, I have confirmation = from France, have seen it known in Canada of the prohibition there. Perhaps its demoralizing for the young ones to strive on. Another threat everywhere to find out are apparently autopsies. Most of you reading this know these basics, but we are all on different levels in this process of Cryonicists. I guess most funeraldirectors can freeze a corps anywhere for practical reasons, the next step are the real thing I suppose. Sending mail apparently from SU while in US might be matter of links. I send from SE as you can see, and are here. In US you may have it easy to sell and promise as they do in church making big bucks. Over here it would arose a debate, we react if old = politicians promise something for the long future. Debates are good for the right reason as PR; The promisland? For the legal matter it may be better with other sellers than keepers, why not the undertakers/funeraldirectors? Are they known to make a big = profit in US? Not here. Via a link at CI I've been reading Saul Kent in Longevity Report and some answers. At 4:36 AM local time, have to sleep. Good night/Guten nacht or whatever Thomas N ------=_NextPart_000_0219_01BDF59B.CF0B4440 Content-Type: text/html; [ AUTOMATICALLY SKIPPING HTML ENCODING! ] Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=10570
