Subject: It could happen to you.

There I was, minding my own business, eating reasonably prudently, swimming
every day, doing 40 pushups--and whammo, out of the blue, a surprise heart
attack. I had an angioplasty and stent, and I'm doing all right, but it goes
to show--yet again. You never can tell.

Of course, if you are young and think you are healthy, the chance of a sneak
disease isn't large. On the other hand, there is always the non-negligible
chance of a Large Moving Object disputing space with you. There is also the
chance that you may suddenly encounter a health problem or accident which,
although not immediately life threatening, will drastically raise the cost of
life insurance.

You've heard the sermon before: Don't dally or delay. Sign up with the
cryonics organization of your choice--or your tentative choice--and get your
arrangements in place. One extra month of delay, one extra week, even one
extra day could be fatal.

We know there are significant numbers of people out there who either can't
decide between organizations, or are put off by cash flow and nuisance
considerations in the near term. We remind those people:

1. Cryonics Institute now offers an Option Two membership, with mandatory dues
of only $120 per year or $35 quarterly. No membership fee, no signup fee.
Minimum suspension fee, whole body, through life insurance or otherwise, is
$35,000 (a little higher than for Option One). Paperwork is not complicated.
Tiny investment to secure your protection. If you change your mind later,
almost nothing is lost. See our web site (below) for Option Two membership
application.

2. For young and healthy people, the cost of a $35,000 life insurance
policy--or of including that amount in a larger policy with more than one
beneficiary--is small. We can recommend several life insurance people with
experience in cryonics.

3. For older people who cannot buy new life insurance, we can work with you to
fund the suspension through use of assets available after death.

In sum: Cryonics protection is much easier and more affordable than you may
have thought. Take it to heart.
