Quote true. A producer produces. They filmed me for nearly two days!
It's like natural selection: given enough time, you get what you
want.

Having done a few of these things, I've realized that the most
important strategy is to try to be "cool": manifest self-irony, have
(or borrow :) a cute girlfriend (or boyfriend), etc., etc. That's
the most effective way to defeat producers' attempts to turn a
segment on you and your life-extension (by whatever method) into a
freak show, which is generally what they want to do. If people don't
think you're a freak, then they'll be more receptive to the
important stuff, which often comes through at least a _little_ bit.
