The last thing that you posted on Gun control was a very short list of web
sites with articles against professor Lott. Again , if you had read Lott's
book you would have known that he has refuted them in his book. The
criticisms of his study that you posted are laughable because they were
actually addressed in the original study. If the authors had bothered to
look closely, they would have known this. I am tried of hearing what
others think of Lott's study. I want to hear what you think about "More
Guns Less Crime"!
If you are trying to optimize your survivability, why do you concentrate
on Firearms? Firearms are not the only cause of death. Collecting News
paper articles from the Internet about firearms is hardly a scientific
approach to determine where one should live to optimize one's
survivability. In fact, I would venture to say that it is useless or worse
misleading.
Why don't you present a study ,based on facts, statistics and logic, on
where one should live to optimize one's survivability instead of
ridiculous sensationalism? Why don't you use the FBI's Uniform Crime
Reports? What are the leading causes death in Arizona and what do they
actually have to do with living in Arizona? Also how many people have been
saved by displaying or using Firearms? I think that you will find that
what you do is as important as where you live!
