I haven't unsubscribed because I find the occasional interesting
tidbit of information, but I must admit that I have no interest
in discussions of mathematics and physics, and skip them unread.

I remember going to dinner with 8 cryonicists and dicovering that
six had advanced degrees in mathematics, mostly Ph.D.'s. No wonder
00--l/ we don't appeal to most people!

Charles has a point. Maybe we need a physics_of_immortality
mailing list that we can point interested parties at. It could even
make periodic announcements on cryonet.

I'm not holding out much hope that anything will change, since to
a group of mathematicians it would seem that we are discussing the
most interesting and crucial aspects of cryonics when we discuss
quantum states and probabilities (even a discussion of who we wanted
to bring back quickly "degenerated" into same). If I knew how to
create a mailing list, I would do so myself.

Typing is hard now, so I'll call that enough. But next time you
think about why the cryonics movement is so small, remember what
you tell people about it in forums like this.

Live long and prosper,
Kennita
