Although this automatic correction is true (Malthus lives!) - it DOESN'T
mean that overpopulation is not a problem.

Ignoring aesthetics, overpopulation (and pollution) are causing a massive
loss of biodiversity - this may not worry some people but it should - just
from a purely capitalist viewpoint the loss of this genetic information
means the loss off billions of dollars of wealth from potential drugs and
other human life-enhancing products in the future.
