In message #12312, Professor Ettinger mentioned additional information
regarding the value of large doses of vitamin C.  Linus Pauling's original
research (as published in "Vitamin C and Cancer" by Pauling and Cameron) to
my knowledge was never honestly duplicated to date.  Still waiting.

When I had the pleasure to hear Pauling speak in 1982 at the University of
Washington, he pointed out how the panther, which weighs close to what an
average human being weighs, generates internally approximately 10,000 mg of
vitamin C every day, whereas human beings create zero.

Been taking about that dose ever since.

Stopped having multiple colds and influenza attacks each winter since then
too.

Made sense to me then.  Still does now.
