Hi again!

Yes, the later experiment did more and was therefore worth publishing. And
it does look as if we can work out ways to increase our memory and
learning ability, though that isn't the only brain function that we'd
like to improve. (Oddly enough, it's not clear to me that we want to be
able to think faster --- other than in some specialized cases --- but
there are many other ways to think better).

But precursors should not be denigrated because they came first. And the
experiment I listed came prior to the other one.

PS: I don't know the experimenters involved, but they may well have been
in contact with one another. After all, they were exploring how memory
works.
