Some comments to Swank:

Clearly either of the insurance policies he mentions, although they do
qualify as insurance policies, don't really satisfy the criteria needed
for someone to be able to fund their suspension using them. If I buy
a "guaranteed issue" policy and then die within 2 years, it pays up
the amount I have paid in premiums --- unlikely to be sufficient to pay
for my suspension. And if I set it up so that it IS sufficient, then
it's not c why I'd want the insurance policy anyway (although some
people might). As for annuities or single-payment policies, the issue
comes down much the same way.

The answer does of course give some life insurance policies accessible to
those who are terminally ill. I think it violates the spirit of my
question even if it conforms to the letter. And of course, if we want to
use life insurance as a test for good health of a cryonics enrollee,
then we can easily exclude these kinds of life insurance.
