If I buy a "guaranteed issue" policy and then die within 2 years, it pays up the amount I have paid in premiums --- unlikely to be sufficient to pay for my suspension. And if I set it up so that it IS sufficient, then it's not c why I'd want the insurance policy anyway (although some people might). As for annuities or single-payment policies, the issue comes down much the same way. The answer does of course give some life insurance policies accessible to those who are terminally ill. I think it violates the spirit of my question even if it conforms to the letter. And of course, if we want to use life insurance as a test for good health of a cryonics enrollee, then we can easily exclude these kinds of life insurance.
