X-Message-Number: 12546 From: "Billy H. Seidel" <> Subject: Deanimation Alarm System Date: Wed, 13 Oct 1999 07:00:13 -0700 There was an article in ADASTRA magazine several months ago. The article explained that John Glenn was given a temperature pill that would transmit his temperature to an external machine with no wires attached to him. I thought we could use this technology to develop a hart monitor for our older patients. After a lot of phone calls and a lot of research time I found the folks that make this equipment. Not a pill, but a device made to ware 24 hours a day with no wires attached. They in fact had almost the exact device we would need. They even have a web page www.pedinc.com This device would give us instant hart failure notice. I think the advantages are obvious. I don't want to make this a long posting so here is the result from FitSense Technology: Billy, It will probably cost us 15k to develop a bomb proof heartrate monitor for you, and would connect into your phone system. After that we could build you 30 heart rate monitors for about $10,000. Total contract about $25k. Tomas Blackadar FitSense Technology So that's it gang. Anyone interested give me a call. Billy H.
