More comments about storing DNA:

Yes, it's true that our DNA does mutate in each cell as we grow older.
However we are not made of only a few cells. Even our head alone isn't
made of only a few cells. And there is a simple means to deal with that
problem of mutation: use enough cells to work out what the common DNA
was from which all the cells used had mutated. With sufficient automation
this should not be a serious problem.

So once more, rather than spend extra money to have your DNA stored, you
might put that money into research towards better cryonics methods.
