Hi everyone!

Here is the text form of the message I will be sending out about the new
Updates. If you are interested, please contact me by email and you can
not only get your Updates sooner, but save the cost of sending you this
notice by ordinary mail (airmail, actually) from Australia.

New Updates for A Guide to AntiAging Drugs

There are four new Updates available:

1. A new chapter, Chapter 15, on Ginkgo biloba

Not long ago one author, JC Winter, in experimenting with a standard Ginkgo
biloba extract given to rats, also tested their longevity. It turned out
that they lived significantly longer. The reason for this may come from the
simple fact that some of the chemicals in the extract are antioxidants, but
its other effects suggest that there may be more than that. This chapter
describes Winter's experiment and also other work on the same extract for
other conditions, too. For instance, it may also help Alzheimer's patients.
It also describes the one known toxic effect of the extract, and discusses
    possible doses for antiaging.

Price of Chapter 15: US $10.

2. Additions to Appendix 2, Drugs Waiting in the Wings.

The first addition is the antioxidant PBN, which has shown good results
with animals but so far lacks any test on human beings. As with other drugs
that did not qualify for an Chapter, the discussion gives references so
that you can read up on this chemical yourselves.

Price of change of Appendix 2: US 1.00

3. Addition to Chapter 8, Deprenyl, A New Drug against Aging.

Another series of experiments with deprenyl gave no increase in lifespan. I

personally suspect this happened simply because the authors used too little
deprenyl, but readers should decide this for themselves. The addition to
this chapter came at the beginning, which meant that the price is more than
$1.00 because the discussion that came afterwards had to move.

Price of change to Chapter 8: US $2.00

4. Addition to Chapter 14, Human Growth Hormone, Outgrowing Aging

Describes some recent negative experiments on the effect of HGH on
lifespan, with discussion of their merit as experiments. The authors
of these new experiments tried to duplicate the work of Khansari and Gustad
exactly, but actually do not do so. Some of their results come close to
suggesting that HGH will increase lifespan in their rats or mice, but the
effect they got wasn't strong enough for statistical significance. As
with Chapter 8, the discussion of this experiment occurs early in Chapter
14 and therefore moves everything else. This accounts for its slightly
    larger price.

Price of change to Chapter 14: US $2.00.

All changes are modifications to the previous text. If you want your Updates
not as modified chapters but as separate Update Notes to be added after each

specifically requested. Such additions to Chapters 8 and 14 are each US
$1.00.
