If the PROMETHEOUS project could only find sufficient funding then the new cryopreservation technology from 21cm (methoxylated perfusates and ice blockers - Fahy, Wowk, Darwin and others) could be worked into a new suspension procedure and tested on laboratory rats. If the experiment could be repeated by independent investigators, confirmed and appear in a peer reviewed journal, the press would do the rest. One immediate spinoff would be the creation of an improved suspension protocol for humans. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? /gary Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=13193
