Subject: Any work on brain cooling during CPR?

Cooling heads during CPR?

The mother of one of my colleagues had a cardiac arrest at age 64. She was
resuscitated after 25 minutes of CPR, but by then brain damage was so
extensive that she was considered brain dead after a few days.

I wondered if any work has been done on cooling people heads during CPR?
Our community could benefit from pushing this idea.
