I am a member of Alcor, but I would also like to invite members of Cryonics
Institute and other organizations, as well as those who are not members of
any organization, but who have an interest in cryonics. Please send me
your name and email address, as well as your thoughts on how such a group
should work. I hope to organize a meeting in the Seattle area sometime
this fall. Anyone within driving distance of Seattle is welcome. Alcor
has a local northern California group, which meets several times a year,
and we might model ourselves after that group.

Hello, Richard Gillmann.

Rudi Hoffman writing from Daytona, FL.

Although I am a long way from Seattle, I have several clients in the Seattle
area who have signed up with me to fund their cryonic suspension.

With your permission, I will refer them to your email address.

I warmly and enthusisistically support the geographically based "support
group" you are making happen. I have tried to do this in my area without
much luck so far.

Alcor should make a map available with "pin points" in the spots where
clients are. That way we could get in touch with each other. Due to privacy
considerations, they can't mass publish roster. But I have talked to Fred C.
about such a map. Altho he agreed it is a good idea, nothing has come of it.
