Using a sacrificial layer method we have developed a microrobot arm that can be 
individually controlled. The arm consists of an 'elbow', a 'wrist', and a hand 
with 2-4 fingers. The robot is controlled by each joint individually. We 
increased (or decreased) the potential a joint by steps of 50 mV until the 
intended degree of bending was achieved.
