Date: Sun, 26 Nov 2000 15:31:32 -0000 I seem to recall reading somewhere that Bush has aligned with religious fundamentalists against stem cell research. Does anyone know if this is true? Is he against any other medical research? The greenhouse effect may be real, or the changes that have been observed it may be within "natural" climate change. It does seem to me odd that humans, who could all live within the state of Texas with 1/4 acres of ground each I once recall reading, could really influence something as big as the Earth that much. Authoritarians do love a drama or crisis to give themselves jobs that are better than working. -- Sincerely, John de Rivaz my homepage links to Longevity Report, Fractal Report, music, Inventors' report, an autobio and various other projects: http://www.geocities.com/longevityrpt http://www.autopsychoice.com - should you be able to chose autopsy? ----- Original Message ----- > Message #15024 > From: "Thomas Nord" <> > Subject: Bush is a danger to us? > Date: Sat, 25 Nov 2000 23:55:47 +0100 > Today I'm a bit worried over the Republicans since Bush doesn't seem to give > a damn over the Greenhouse-effect, Gore does and Nader more so.
