I seem to recall reading somewhere that Bush has aligned with religious
fundamentalists against stem cell research. Does anyone know if this is
true? Is he against any other medical research?

The greenhouse effect may be real, or the changes that have been observed it
may be within "natural" climate change. It does seem to me odd that humans,
who could all live within the state of Texas with 1/4 acres of ground each I
once recall reading, could really influence something as big as the Earth
that much. Authoritarians do love a drama or crisis to give themselves jobs
that are better than working.
