Billy, there's no need to apologize, ever. You're one of the kindest, most
tactful people I know. Your points are well taken.

Only one misperception remains: I never want to "stir things up." I merely
want people to be fully informed. This creates a difficult situation when
I find myself with information about organizations to which I do not
belong. The choice is either to say nothing (while worrying that some
people are less than fully informed), or maybe ask a few questions, hoping
that some answers will emerge.

My primary loyalty is not to any one organization, but to the concept of
cryonics; and I firmly believe that its integrity, in the long term, can
only be assured by relatively full disclosure. Of course, other people are
free to disagree with me, and they can always tell me to mind my own
business.
