Subject: new form of silicon

This article, unfortunately, is not on the New Scientist web site, but is in
the printed edition this week.

> Schechter peers into the mysterious world of black silicon.

It details a new form of silicon that has uses in extremely high efficiency
photo cells and sensors, but there are also medical applications such as the
introduction of drugs. Worth taking a look if you can find a printed edition
as it may be of use somehow for cryonics.
