You've long ago mutated into a > vicious warty troll, but are obviously too far gone into senility I would have thought that his posts are far too well argued for a diagnosis of senility. This list is (supposed to be) about fact rather than personalities, but unfortunately Mr Platt mixed the two and Mr Ettinger responded likewise in some of the posts. Maybe such response is not coldly scientific, but then this list is composed of people communicating and not scientific papers or indeed data streams between computers. I would say that if any diagnosis is required, it is simply that Mr Ettinger's post have failed the Turing Test - it is obviously a person posting and not a computer programmed to behave as a person. Come to think of it, maybe that is a good way to see if a text source is a machine or a robot - start off with some character assassination and see if it replies in kind! -- Sincerely, John de Rivaz my homepage links to Longevity Report, Fractal Report, music, Inventors' report, an autobio and various other projects: http://www.geocities.com/longevityrpt http://www.autopsychoice.com - should you be able to chose autopsy? > Message #15354 > Date: Tue, 16 Jan 2001 13:22:13 +0100 > From: > Subject: Re: CryoNet #15342 - #15353 > References: <> > > Congratulations, and hope you all have fun wading in the vitriol. > > Robert Ettinger, you might have been a founding father, but it's > time for a little fratricide.
