Subject: CI's 75% glycerol

  It looks like CI is already using a "vitrification" solution. If tissue
is fully equilibriated with 75% glycerol, ice crystal formation could not
occur. This equilibriation would take time, so water content is probably
higher than 25% with the short periods of perfusion used. However as long
as tissue water content is below 40%, rapid freezing could result in
vitrification.
