Subject: FLEA: First jump.

FLEA is the French Laser Experimental Area. One year ago, I have described
how it could be possible to build a quantum non demolition X-rays brain
reader. The first element was a chemical laser power plan. The incremental
elements of that laser system will be tested at the FLEA. The full project
may expand on more than 20 years, as I have said before, the most critical
element is financing, to solve that problem, as much as posible groups will
be involved in FLEA experiments.

I have said a week ago that cryonics would benefit if it targeted scientist
and science oriented amateurs, because the science world has the best record
of generation to generation continuity. R. Ettinger has pointed out that
selective advertising has been done before with mixed succes and science
oriented people are over represented in present day cryonics. I think
projects such FLEA will bring new science oriented amateurs and scientist to
cryonics. The problem here is not advertising, but launching and running high
technology activities.
