Subject: "Choosing death"

When is it ,if ever, our moral duty by act or omission to prevent the death
of others? For example a person crossing the street who does not see a
speeding truck or the insane drinking gasoline or a child jumping from a
window on the tenth floor like Superman does? At the bare minimum even if
nonexistence (temporary or permanent) is desirable as an experience it is
unobtainable due to the Death Advantage Fallacy (DAF). To try to obtain the
unobtainable is as illogical as the example situations of people who are
about to kill themselves that I have given. Would they actually be happier
nonexistent? Does a person need a reason to (kill= nonexistence)
themselves? Cryopreservation is at least an attempt to continue to exist
hopefully with less pain. This makes sense however choosing death does not.
