Oslo Norway, Monday June 25th

Below is a preliminary list of the costs involved in setting up a new facility
in Norway.

Today I have called around to find out where we can rent 10 sq meter of storage
space in a local business park or research park. Lowest price so far is USD
1,700 a year.

I have also got price quotes on liquid nitrogen and dry ice,
lowest price so far about 70 cents (US) per liter for liquid nitrogen
and about USD 1.7 per kilo for dry ice (plus delivery)

I am working on a preliminary list of expenses including such that you will have
at your end.

See attached list. You will have to find out what it will cost to use an
undertaker at your end, and to have him exhumed and repacked in a sleeping bag
inside a small metal ziegler chest, inside a larger dry ice box.
We would have to rent a dry ice travel box from England, for the air freight.
And you will have to find out what the air freight will be.

Anyway I will be speaking to the head of the local business park tomorrow.
If he goes along, then I have to check that the authorities won't object.

Or we have to set up some short of scientific organization so to get the
Norwegian government's approval or so to not need such approval.

I have also looked into electrical freezers as one option if Alcor won't let us
know where they have bought their big foot liquid nitrogen dewars.

Will know more later today.

Sincerely,

Trygve Bauge.

To Elizabeth:
You can't send the body yet.

I still have to find a business park that agrees to rent out space for cryogenic
storage,

and I have to call the authorities to create the paperwork necessary to prevent
any government objections.

What you can do is to tell the autorities in Australia that I am working on
setting up a facility to receive him in Norway. Maybe they will let you exhume
hime and keep him on dry ice in Australia for the days or weeks until I am ready
to receive him.

Once I find a location where he can be stored, and as soon as I have called the
authorities, found out and done the paperwork to prevent any government
objections, then we will have to write a contract and you would have to send the
necessary money so that I can rent the facility, build a dry ice box, order
either an electrical freezer or a liquid nitrogen dewar, only once we have done
that will I be ready to receive him and store him on dry ice here until the
electrical freezer/or liquid cryotank arrives.

Sincerely,

Trygve Bauge
