Kevin, it's pointless for you to tell us about the poor impression created
by anti-gay, pro-exhumation, and other nutty prolix Cryonet posts
expressing opinions that few sane or balanced people would share.

We already know about this problem. But there's nothing we can do about
it; and the people who make such posts obviously aren't going to stop just
because you ask them to.

While I respect your hands-off, nonauthoritarian philosophy, Kevin, I
think you should accept some responsibility for running this list, and
recognize that without ground rules, discourse is degraded by the people
who shout loudest and longest.

So long as ground rules are applied equally, they need not infringe free
speech. Again I suggest a lower limit for any single post, and a maximum
of two posts per day from any one person. Anyone should be capable of
communicating within, say, 20 KB per day. That's more than 3000 words.
