January 26, 1993

I have officially begun my duties as President/CEO of the Alcor Life
Extension Foundation. You may now call me at the Riverside office, 1-800-
367-2228 or (for members and for other individuals wanting to lower our
telephone expenses) 1-909-736-1703.

[Note that Riverside has a new area code. The old 714 code still
works for a few more months; but you should start changing it in your
records now. Also, in case you are not aware, the 800 number is not a
flat charge. We pay by the minute, like an automated collect call. That
is why we ask you to pay for the call yourself under normal circumstances
and save the 800 number for new people wanting information and for
emergencies.]

For e-mail, please begin sending all offical mail for me (especially
if you don't mind that other people may inadvertently read it) to Alcor's
e-mail address

For personal messages, you may continue to use my Compuserve number:

I will try to remember to send messages out that way also (official
from Alcor, private from home) to make replies easier; but it may take a
few days to properly ingrain this habit.

There are many issues being discussed on this network right now that
I want to address when I can take time from the usual massive amount of
work involved in taking on a new job (not to mention moving into a new
apartment in a new state only two days earlier!). No matter how important
they are, these issues will necessarily demand less of my time than the
main issues facing me in the office the next two weeks (management of
staff, preparation for major projects like a new building, learning how to
handle the myriad of financial details, finding the toilet paper, etc.).

     I'll participate as I can.

NOTE TO KEVIN: I will now read the Cryonet messages at Alcor; but please
leave me some kind of access in case I want to MAIL one to you from my
personal address -- if that is possible.

     Steve Bridge
