Subject: The brain is NOT like a computer

There may be many reasons why the brain is NOT at all like a computer. But
the one that now seems the most compelling is that a computer can be
separated into soft ware and hardware. A brain's software and hardware
seem to be intricate parts of each other. The information (we might expect
to find in a computer's software) is built-into the brain's hardware and
probably cannot be separated.
