At least two reasons for infrequent hard news on the technical cryonics
front--first, big news doesn't happen often; second, technical details about
things done in the labs are usually pretty boring and unsuitable for casual
forums.

However, Dr. Yuri Pichugin has been accumulating and testing his new
equipment at CI, and is setting up a separate research facility not far from
our main facility, and progress reports will be coming as appropriate. I
expect to be relocated back to Michigan on Aug. 8, but hopefully this will
not impede progress too much.

As for the frills or marginal topics on Cryonet, as long as they are not
nasty or stupid, I think they tend to attract new people or maintain the
interest of previous people.
