It was like reading Engines of Creation or The Prospect of Immortality. A big reassuring step. As we signed up for Life Memberships with Alcor, we knew by the chemistry that you two were bringing to Alcor, our restless future thoughts and the possabilities of realizing it in person was closer than we had ever imagined. We saw it in you and we see it more as we have gotten to know you both with great pride and adoration. So much so, that I gotta watch Rachael through the corner of my eye around Fred, she gets a little starry-eye'd around the stainless steel dewars. I can't begin to say how thankful I am to have not only chosen the "right" cryonic organization; not only to understand the nuances of the movement from your original and tenacious prespectives; not only to feel and learn of the efforts you two are responcible for and not only to make new and great "forever-friends", but to do my best to emulate the passion toward Alcor and cryonics in general that you both have displayed in which we should all be proud to have witnessed. So, I plege my life, through professionally creative and personal chatty communication proliferation (a.k.a. spreadin' the word - - - eeew, sounds all "born again"), to making sure I do what I can and what is best for all of "our" suspensions and new Lives, 2.0. Word. Fred and Linda, I really don't feel you will ever leave our plight for the future. And I'm hopful that by Mr. Kurzweil's drum-tight exponets, you will not be "waking" but "walking" into the future. You will always be in my mind as I dream and hope and fight for my day to rise, hoping that some of the first faces I see will be that of the two of you. Bravo to Fred and Linda Chamberlain, Bravo!
