At the origin, AOL-America has started a service in france under the aol-France name. Then he has sold the company to a water utility: Compagnie Generale des Eaux. This one has been renamed Vivendi, with a telephone sector called Cegetel. AOL-France is a subsidiary of Cegetel, itself a part of Vivendi, the buyer of the Universal studios. So, AOL in France has nothing to do with AOL in the US. It is the Internet service provider of Vivendi-Universal, the second world communication company behind AOL-Time-Warner, the number one. I hope the things are clear now, even if I don't see the relevance to cryonics :-) Yvan Bozzonetti. Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=17379
