Dr. Lemler, who "thinks he has been on Noah's Ark" (or has thought so) has
done an outstanding job, in my view, since he has been here, and is the
best available person for Alcor's president, based on his performance and
unquestionable dedication. Now, I admit that the "Ark" expedition,
undertaken before he became involved with Alcor and cryonics, raises some
questions. But I don't get the impression he is taking that trip and the
little book it produced (mainly a picture tour with about 45 pages of text
by four different coauthors) too seriously. He should speak for himself, of
course, and already has. His conduct and presence of mind should go a long
way to further defuse this issue, should the need arise. There is a
humorous side to this that may even help our cause--no guarantee, but who
knows?
