American Association for the Advancement of Science would like to invite you

Exploring the Nature of Nature:  Conceptual and Methodological  Frontiers of 
Science
September 12, 2001, from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm
Anchorage Marriott Downtown
This session is open and free to the general public.

will last approximately 45 minutes, and I've attached   biographies of the

This session is a small component of the 52nd Arctic Science  Conference, 
which will be held in Anchorage from September 12 through   September 15.

conference schedule and register for the entire conference.

The Complex Systems Group is also hosting several small, informal  brown bag 
luncheons this semester in the Campus Center Room 105 to   further the 
complexity dialogue.  UAA faculty, staff, students, and   the general public 
are invited to attend.  The luncheons will be held   on September 7, October 
5, November 2, and December 7 and have been   scheduled from 11:00 am to 
1:00 pm.  Lunch is not provided; however,   there is a Subway located just 
across the hall from CC 105.
