My guess is "Badly", given late summer weather in New York.
I also guess that if you died in the attack, the time would
be less of an issue than the crushing and/or burning.  Also
note that there are risks other than terrorist attack that 
make the upper floors of a skyscraper less than the safest 
places to be.  Earthquake and fire come to mind.  Avoiding
such high places seems a reasonable precautionary measure.

Question:  do you think bin Laden knew the towers would
collapse?  Or did he just expect to knock holes in them
and start a fire?  If he didn't expect them to collapse, 
did he cheer for his bonus points when they did, or did
he groan "Uh-oh -- now they're *really* gonna get mad!"?

I've been watching too much TV news...
