Subject: CRYONICS: Cryonicists and their mothers

Is there perhaps a simpler explanation for the closeness that Charles
Platt sees between cryonicists and their mothers? Perhaps it is the
fact that women tend to live longer than men, meaning that a child's
surviving parent is more likely to be his/her mother, by the time that
the child is in a position to make a decision about cryonic suspension for
the parent.
