I hope this was not a reference to John Perry.

1. John was not an Alcor member when he died.

2. John had been a CryoCare member, and like all CryoCare members, he had
received three separate warnings that we could not provide service,
because we had lost our service provider. John failed to heed these
warnings in a timely fashion.

Of course, because of the circumstances of his death, he would not have
benefited, no matter which organization he joined. Still, I see his sad
demise as a reminder that even smart, well-informed people procrastinate
and may act foolishly regarding their arrangements for cryopreservation.
