Subject: CRYONICS Storage Near -136 C

Robert Ettinger, the father of cryonics, recently proposed a possible
method for reliable storage of cryonics patients near -136 C rather than
at the usual liquid nitrogen temperature (-196 C). Achieving reliable
storage near -136 C is important because it is cold enough to preserve
a patient for hundreds of years (at least) but apparently is not cold
enough to cause the massive cracking seen in patients stored at -196 C.
Ettinger is not ready to publicize his proposal widely (such as on USENET),
but is soliciting feedback on his proposal. If you would like to see
his (less than 5K byte) proposal and offer feedback, send email to me
with the Subject line "CRYOMSG 1773.1".
