X-Message-Number: 17756 Date: Sat, 13 Oct 2001 22:59:37 -0400 From: fair4us <> Subject: No Answer on Yuri Pichugin Nearly a month ago, I posted the following to Cryonet: "It seems only a few months ago (exactly how many is hard to remember and the Cryonet search function is somewhat limited), that Dr. Pichugin arrived at the Cryonics Institute, had dinner and a pleasant evening, and was ready to go to work. This reported event was accompanied at various times by references to a CI research agenda, at other times by hints that there might be verification tests run on advanced concepts such as vitrification. Thus far, though, no news. I would think that many readers would like to know things such as: Items on the research agenda, timetable, goals and objectives, obstacles, progress to date." Robert Ettinger posted a reply to Cryonet that this information would be available at the CI Annual Meeting at the end of September. Seeing no information after September 30, I emailed him and was informed that the information would be published in The Immortalist, on the CI web page when someone found the time, and possibly by someone else from CI on Cryonet, if they were so inclined. Would that somebody please come forward and tell us what the plans are with Dr. Pichugin?
