I wonder how many others have found wisdom in their lyrics. I hope this gets posted in time. I wasn't feeling well most of the day. I must admit I'm a little depressed for one over all the damn pills I have to take and the insulin... oh won't they perfect the pancreas islet cell implants soon please! I heard a rumor while at the hospital that spinal cord stem cell implantation has already occurred outside the US for spinal cord injury repair for two young children with positive results for one and lesser results for the other. Regarding the one with lesser results it would seem to me that it could be repeated till the job was complete. Has anyone else heard of this? The other thing that's got me down is that the added spasticity has increased in my hands. They've always had some and when writing or painting and even typing sometimes an unexpected spasm can ruin a good bit of work. I'm just a little worried this new increase in overall spasticity won't go away or at least return to pre surgery levels making doing my art and hobbies really difficult. However, there's always an answer for every problem, though sometimes not yet found. If my hands don't improve I'll see about botox injections for the key worst offending muscles... after all they are paralyzed as regards voluntary movement anyway. The alternative is more drugs which dull me and depress me. Thank you Shaun for your kind and encouraging words. The RUSH quote also reminded me to keep persevering. One day all the pain and mental anguish will be rewarded more than ever dreamed possible.
