Which planet are you living on?

The USA has an appalling history of illegal foreign intervention including 
the supporting _and_ training of some of the world's worst dictators and 
butchers (justifications for these interventions usually include some 
updated variety of the Monroe Doctrine).  The most recent events have just 
been more dramatic and of course when US citizens are the recipients 
rather than the source of the death, the US media devotes a little more 
coverage . .

"Show me the CIA manual" - are you serious???

As I said some time ago when this stuff had just started . . the first 
casualty of war is the truth . .

Matthew's comments seemed like some of the more objective ones as far as I 
can see.
