Reply to Donaldson: same as to Platt with this rejoinder: just because we
have a unique product, don't assume that it follows unique economic laws.
Eventually cryonics will be an industry, it will be traded on the stock
markets of the world, it will have big and little investors all of whom will
be interested solely in profit. It will also have its share of scandals,
inside trading, failures, reorganizations, consolidations. It is the same
with any commodity which is valued by a large enough number of people. We
are not there yet, but how could we not possibly get there eventually unless
we are all totally wacko on our premises [which most of our friends and
relatives already think we are, of course.]
