X-Message-Number: 18550 From: "Ben Best" <> Subject: WINTER CANADIAN CRYONICS/LIFE-EXTENSION DINNER Date: Wed, 13 Feb 2002 02:23:22 -0800 WINTER CANADIAN CRYONICS/LIFE-EXTENSION DINNER There will be a winter dinner of life-extensionists, cryonicists and interested persons at Future Bakery, 483 Bloor Street West (about halfway between Spadina and Bathurst on Bloor, SouthWest corner of Bloor & Brunswick) in Toronto, Ontario on Sunday, February 24, 2002 from 6:30pm to 9pm. Future Bakery is a non-smoking cafe offering wholesome meals & snacks at reasonable prices. All interested cryonicists/life-extensionists are invited. I (Ben Best) am attending "The Door Into Summer" cryonics Transport planning session in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on the preceding weekend, which will give me a chance to meet leading figures in cryonics and discuss with them local response issues which could be of benefit for us in Canada. Anyone who seriously thinks they might want to benefit-from or assist-in cryonics rescue efforts is invited to attend the local response planning session being held in my apartment at 4:30pm on February 24th -- 2 hours before the dinner. No special skills are necessary, but those coming should refrain from theoretical discussions about nanotechnology or about subjects which are unlikely to be of benefit to cryonics emergency response. General discussion of life extension, nanotechnology, etc, should be deferred for the dinner. To attend the planning session, e-mail: Those interested in attending the dinner can come without further invitation, and are welcome to bring friends.
