I am able to sympathise with your frustration with Toby's somewhat naive
ideas but feel I must ally my self with his vision (the aussie bit, not the
drugs bit).
We are a long way from you both physically, culturally and most importantly,
financially.
I live in Australia, I share your dreams for a long long life ahead in which

to do all the things I desire but am unable to do in this one.
But we don't have your economic might.

(... nor do we suffer the moral weight of benefiting from a corrupt,
destructive government such as yours. Don't get me wrong, I understand that

there is division amongst american people and that many dissent against the
crimes of your government, and certainly no government is perfect -
- I don't wish to sound too critical but I'm genuinely concerned.
I believe that unless the US govt. changes it's views and the way it acts
- signs the kyoto protocol just for one example - then the world may not
offer much worth living for!
US Policy, and that of the IMF ..GREED in short.. - could destroy the world
for us all.)

Anyways, back to the point .. we don't necessarily have the money to pay
your US dollar
fees for memberships and preservation, (imagine if it cost you double what
it does already)
then there is transport, and of course, what happens if we die here anyhow!
I know it's not your problem but cryonicists don't have it easy over here.
I've had trouble getting in touch with just one other.
This of course is a positive reflection of the freedom and liberty that your
good ol'US nation affords you.
I believe that what we need is your help to set something up locally.
Unless Australian's all want to move to America before they die, ..
this is my plan at the moment, but I'd prefer to change that.
..and I've got plenty of time too i hope (touch wood).

Regards,
Tracey Simon.
ps. pls don't pick on my sad grammar, I'm very busy and rushing to write
this with little time for corrections.
