Subject: Cryonics in Australia

I just want to reiterate how important a cryonics facility is in Australia.
There are several advantages, including

1. Australia could service not only itself, but much of Asia, Melanesia and
some of South America and Polynesia and all of New Zealand.

2. Australia has very stable geology. An earthquake is very unlikely to hit
Melbourne Sydney or Brisbane. (Please correct me if I'm wrong.)

3. The Southern Hemisphere NEEDS a cryonics provider, and Australia is a rich,
if not very politically potent, country that can set up such a facility at such
a time as enough people are interested.

4. By playing a diplomatically non-aggressive role with our foreign policy in
the 101 years since Australian Federation, it's unlikely we will be the focus of
terrorist attacks.

5. If wanting to be cured of my cerebral palsy and other disabilities on home
soil makes me "naive", then I'm naive. I believe I live in the best city in the
world (Brisbane) *Promptly puts on asbestos armour to prepare for flaming*. I
would never want to leave Australia on a long-term basis.

I hope this better outlines reasons to have a facility in Australia

Warmest regards

Toby Christensen
