About storing information about yourself on various computer media: it looks like all of them are rather short-lived compared to writing on good paper. Yes, a full account of oneself would take up LOTS of paper, but it may well be the longest-lived version of all. Presumably you might write it in hex, too. Even if paper ceases to be used normally to store information, creating a computer system able to read off a paper tape written in hex is not going to be a difficult problem. It's also likely that you will want several copies, again something easy to do. I am not giving an original suggestion here. A previous discussion of just this question on Cryonet came up with the paper suggestion. And it has the very definite advantage of longevity. Not only that, but if you write out an explicit statement of the hex code you have used, then even that will not require any deep thinking to use. Just a comment about how to make something which lasts. Best wishes and long long life for all, Thomas Donaldson Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=18825
