I wonder if he thinks someone is perceiving himself "more important" if he
presents for a heart transplant? or to have a broken limb set? or indeed
even going to the pharmacist and buying a medicine for rhinitis?

Is someone considering himself "more important" if he eats (bearing in mind
that there may be more worthy people in the world who are starving).
