re Samantha's poem.  I think this expresses an amalgam of the views 
cryonicists confront from our friends who don't accept what we are trying to 
do.  It is a mix of romantic idealization of the past and present, a fear of 
the future especially as science and technology will deliver it to us [note 
references to atomic anihilation] and a fear of change in general.  As she 
walks down the street she should be more aware of how impossible this scene 
would have been a thousand years ago and how rare 200 years ago.  I am no 
poet, but Samantha deserves a poetic answer because in many ways, as lovely 
as her poem may seem to be, she just doesn't get it.  Any takers?
